When a student becomes ill in school, the student must report to the nurse's office for clearance to leave the building. All illnesses are tracked and documented. We have students with weakened immune systems so tracking infections / communicable diseases is vital to the health of all our students and staff. Students will be allowed to contact their parents/ guardians from the health office. Students who are feeling poorly in the morning and who experience a sudden improvement in their condition should remain at home from school to prevent relapse or exposure of others to illness.
