Spanish Heritage Show – Educational Field Trip Experience

A field trip has been planned for the Sixth grade students. The location is Weston CT High School Auditorium. The Spanish Heritage Show is an exciting educational performance designed to bring the culture, history, and traditions of Spain to life. This engaging production features a talented cast performing vibrant live music and traditional dances such as Pasodoble, Zambra, Rumba, Asturias, and Bulería. Students will explore iconic cultural elements including the fan, shawl, and castanets while learning how music and dance reflect Spain’s diverse regions and history.

Through interactive participation, students will actively connect with the rhythms, sounds, and stories of Spain, making meaningful connections to both Spanish language learning and social studies topics such as culture, geography, and historical traditions. This unforgettable experience supports classroom instruction while fostering curiosity, global awareness, and appreciation for world cultures.

• Cost: $33 per student, make checks payable to JRMS Student Activity Fund.
  
  

• Deadline for permission slip and payment: February 27, 2026
