Adventures in Space Rocket
Camp
In February the
PTA sponsored a guest speaker named David Heshion. He shared his knowledge about human travel to
the moon and his collection of models and memorabilia with the 5th
grade.
The 5th
Grade Team is very excited to have Mr. Heshion return for Rocket Camp. This is a special program for JRMS students
to learn about rockets, how they work and how they fly.
Students will build
and launch their own rocket. These
rockets will fly as high as 1000 feet or more and are reusable. Any lost rockets will be replaced.
